Opening Reflection
Setbacks are a natural part of any journey.
Sometimes we take a step forward only to encounter obstacles we did not expect. Other times we may feel discouraged because something we hoped would work simply did not unfold the way we imagined.
In those moments it can be tempting to step back and question whether we should continue at all.
But courage is not the absence of difficulty. Courage is the willingness to begin again.
Faith reminds us that God does not measure our journey by how many times we stumble, but by our willingness to rise and continue walking with Him.
Today’s Scripture
Proverbs 24:16 (KJV)
For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief.
Reflection
God understands that growth includes both success and struggle.
Each time we rise after disappointment, our faith becomes stronger and our character grows deeper. What may feel like failure in the moment often becomes preparation for something greater ahead.
Supporting Scripture
Isaiah 40:31 (KJV)
But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength.
Encouragement
If you are standing at a place where you need the courage to try again, remember that perseverance often leads to the most meaningful breakthroughs.
Prayer
Lord tonight we ask for courage to try again. Setbacks sometimes make us hesitate before stepping forward once more. Strengthen our hearts and remind us that perseverance builds faith. Help us rise again with confidence in Your guidance.
Amen.
