Opening Reflection

Sometimes courage looks dramatic — bold decisions, big leaps, or major life changes.

But more often, courage appears in quieter forms.

Courage can look like continuing when progress feels slow. It can look like believing in the work you are doing even when results are not immediate. It can look like trusting God when you are still learning and growing.

Faith does not remove challenges, but it strengthens our ability to face them.

Today’s Scripture

Joshua 1:9 (KJV)
Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.

Reflection

God’s command to Joshua was simple but powerful: be strong and courageous.

Why?

Because God promised His presence.

The same promise remains true today. When we face uncertain paths or new challenges, we are not walking alone.

Supporting Scripture

Isaiah 41:10 (KJV)
Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God.

Encouragement

If you are standing in a moment that requires courage today, remember that strength grows when we rely on God rather than our own abilities.

Take the next step. God is walking with you.

Prayer

Father God, today we ask for courage. Some days the work before us feels bigger than our confidence. Help us remember that You never ask us to walk alone. Strengthen our hearts and guide our steps as we continue forward in faith.

Amen.
